What is Invisalign?
Invisalign refers to the clear aligners made by the company of the same namesake. Invisalign has become increasingly popular over traditional braces for a number of reasons. Invisalign does exactly what braces do, without the inconvenience of wired braces. Invisalign rearranges the shape and orientation of your teeth into a straight, beautiful, Hollywood-esque smile. Patients prefer Invisalign because of their clear, subtle appearance. Further, Invisalign is removable. Whenever you need to eat, brush, or meet for a special occasion you can easily take them out. However, it is recommended that the aligners are worn for at least 22 hours a day to remain effective.
